The Bristol Clipper has got underway on the latest leg of the round-the-world race, this leg departing from Bayside Marina in Yokohama, Japan.

The original start line was Tokyo Bay but rough seas made this impracticable, so a new start line was placed just at the western entrance where the water was calmer.

There was a slight delay to the start while Leeds carried out repairs, but the race finally got underway at 1400 local time (0500 GMT).

This leg takes the race out of the Pacific and into the East China Sea towards Shanghai. [ Follow the route here ]

Bristol still holds the overall race lead, and won the last leg in dramatic fashion.
