It's
dark, wet and late but farmer Frank is still awake checking on his pregnant
cows. He shares a calving experience with us, this he says, is what farming
is all about. It's a risky time of the year, early spring, because if the
calving goes wrong you can lose what you have waited for all year. This
cow has become a mother for the first time and Frank says he thinks she
will be a very good one.
