The pendulum of the Marsh lions' fortune has swung madly since we first followed their story in 1996. Several changes of leadership have led to factions splitting off and interlopers entering the heart of the pride, but a central core has maintained control over the highly desirable marsh territory. Many cubs have been born, some have died and we've watched as the fortunate few have reached adulthood.
