Each day brought a new challenge for Toto and his mum. Only 25 per cent of cheetah cubs make it to maturity in this area so keeping him alive would be a constant battle. Honey managed to chase off an adult cheetah only to be challenged by two big male baboons. In spite of Honey's attempt to lead the baboons away from Toto, they spotted him before he made it to cover. The arrival of the rest of the troop might well have spelled the end for Toto, but unable to find him, they eventually give up and leave.
