At breakfast in the Chauhan house, Krishan tries to claim Kamla's room as his own for when she leaves, but Rita and Jas both say she's not going anywhere. Kamla has gone out to get some milk, but is acting a bit confused. Some girls walk past her on the street and try to get money out of her, but Mary comes out of the newsagent and shoos them off, and invites Kamla in for a cup of tea. They talk about the burglary and the hospital, and Kamla tells Mary she is going back to India - at least she'll get some respect there. Mary advises her not to rush into anything, but Kamla says she is buying her ticket, today.
Kuljit and Sway help Jodie in the café, putting up a shelf (with limited success!) and clearing out some junk which they promptly commandeer for their warehouse. Back at the Chauhan's Jas argues again with Arun over his music. She scratches one of his records when she tries to switch it off and Arun storms out disgusted.
Kamla goes into the travel shop on Silver Street and asks for a flight to India. She thinks the flight is very expensive and tries to barter with the shop assistant, who rapidly loses patience. Is she going to buy a ticket or not?
