In pictures: MoD's first nature reserve
Practice raids by RAF bomber planes have made a strip of Lincolnshire coastline the perfect breeding ground for a colony of seals and a haven for a variety of wildlife.
Here BBC News Online details in pictures when RAF Donna Nook near Mablethorpe was made into the latest English nature reserve.
The coastline is home to a "gregarious" seal colony
