Faces of education

Behind the headlines about exams, teacher shortages and over-burdened curriculums are the people working in education or experiencing it for themselves.

Teachers, parents and students have been writing for BBC News Online about what education means to them at the moment.

In this second instalment, they talk about how they got on last term, what they are doing now and the issues that bug them.

In the summer, they will tell us what kind of year it has been overall.

Click on the images on the right to read their stories.

Then use the feedback forms on them to let us know what you think about any of the issues raised, or just to tell us your experiences.
