India ferry accident 'kills 15'
Fifteen people have died after a ferry capsized in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, police say.

The boat, carrying 50 people, sank near the village of Ramachandrapuram on the Godavari river early on Monday. The other 35 people swam to safety.

The accident is the second boat disaster in the state since the beginning of last month.

Twenty-nine people drowned when their boat capsized on the river Krishna early in October.
