Gas pipeline deal for Pakistan
Russia has signed an agreement with Pakistan for the construction of a gas pipeline linking an Iranian gas-field with India.

Russian state-controlled gas enterprise Gazprom signed a memorandum of understanding with Pakistan's Ministry for Oil and Natural Resources on Tuesday.

The pipeline will pass through Pakistan's coastal waters.

Gazprom is expected to sign similar documents with Iran and India in the coming months.
