Iran unveils 'third generation' centrifuges

Iran has unveiled what it is claiming is a new, more powerful, "third generation" of nuclear centrifuges.

The new technology enriches fuel for power plants, but it is feared it could be used for nuclear weapons.

The Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad paraded one of the new machines at celebrations for the country's national nuclear day.
