Business laws put up for debate
New laws governing the relationship between businesses and workers will be debated in Jersey's States this week.

Unions and some politicians want changes to some aspects of the Employment Relations Law to tilt the balance in the favour of employees.

Another potentially contentious law to be debated is looking at regulating the powers the police have to mount surveillance on suspected criminals.

A new policy on speed limits is also on the agenda.
