New homes for disabled proposed
New sheltered homes could be built for people in St Clement.

The parish is hoping to build 25 homes for elderly people and people with disabilities on the site on the Inner Road near Samares Manor.

Developers want to put about 150 homes there and the sheltered housing for the parish would be part of it.

The site is already set aside for the development of new homes as part of Jersey's Island Plan which sets out proposed uses for land.

The Constable, Derek Gray, is to put his proposals to the parishioners at an assembly on Tuesday at 1930 GMT.
