New school opens for first time
The brand new D'Auvergne primary school has officially opened its doors to pupils for the first time.

The £5m school is taking 230 students from the former La Pouquelaye school and St Mark school.

For the past two weeks the finishing touches have been made to the classrooms, and the new term began on Thursday morning.

The new facilities include a brand new nursery with a separate kitchen and giant sandpit outside.
