Latest jobless figures show rise
The number of people who are unemployed in Jersey has increased, according to the latest figures from the States.

At the end of October 531 people were registered with the island's Department of Employment.

This shows a rise of 4.5% on September's figures.

The President of Employment and Social Security, Senator Paul Routier, said the figures reflect a seasonal trend which is expected at this time of year.
