Students offered visit to Germany
A bursary has been set up for A-level students studying German in Jersey.

The island's twinning committee is offering one student a year the chance to live in Bad Wurzach near Munich for at least a month.

The committee hope students will return having improved their language and experienced German culture.

The scheme would be well suited to people who want careers in the health industry as the town's huge spa complex could provide work experience.

Anyone interested in the bursary should apply to the twinning committee by December.
