Jersey secondary school children are finding out what life in prison is like as part of a scheme designed to steer young people away from crime.
The initiative, called "Prison! Me! No Way!", is running in several schools.
Pupils will get a taste of what it is like to be a prisoner by being isolated from friends for a while and following a typical jail regime.
The organisers also want to redress what they say are exaggerated images of prison life seen on TV and other media.
Prison and police officers are running the workshops, along with people from other related agencies.
