Charles pageant venue switched
Roads around Gorey Castle will not be closing on Tuesday for the visit of Prince Charles.

The prince's visit to the castle has been called off because of bad weather.

Instead Prince Charles will watch a medieval pageant at St James Centre, and hear the Loyal Address in the States Chamber.

The prince is visiting the Channel Islands to mark 800 years of allegiance to the Crown. He is visiting Guernsey, Alderney and Herm on Wednesday.

Vingtenier Mitch Couriard, who is co-ordinating the traffic situation, says they will keep disruption to a minimum in St Helier.
