Heritage group fights for cottage
A heritage campaign group is opposing efforts to remove a Jersey property from a list of special buildings.

The Seymour Hotels group owns La Fantaisie on Belevedere Hill.

It has claimed that there are serious problems with rot and erosion around the structure which are making the building impossible to repair.

Save Jersey's Heritage President Marcus Binney said removing the special status from the 200-year-old cottage would be a "grave and unwarranted step".
