People may no longer have to vote for Deputies and Senators

Jersey people are to be asked to vote in a referendum on changes to the island's government.
Politicians hope to move ahead with proposed changes, including replacing Deputies and Senators with a single category of States member.
There are also plans for one general election day.
The Privileges and Procedures Committee, which is responsible for coordinating changes, has arranged a public meeting next week to discuss it.
Committee president Deputy Roy le Herissier said the people of Jersey should have to be asked first what they thought of the proposals.
