Police investigate vandalism
More than £600 worth of damage has been done to property in the Jersey area of Les Quennevais.

It comes in the same week as local deputies said they wanted to reduce vandalism in the area.

Shopkeepers in Les Quennevais precinct are calling for better security measures to deal with what they call a growing problem with vandalism.

The worst case of vandalism occurred on Thursday night when almost £400 worth of damage was caused when a stone was thrown through a patio window in Les Quennevais Park.

Almost two hours later, the back window of a car was smashed, causing £200 worth of damage.

The police believe the two cases could be linked, and want to speak to anyone who may have been a witness.
