Island's future in spotlight
Only about 150 people have registered to take part in a public discussion about what the future holds for Jersey.

More than 1,000 people have been selected at random and representatives from churches, schools and youth groups have been asked to go along to the "Imagine Jersey" talks.

The Policy and Resources Committee aims to let islanders have their say about where they see Jersey going over the next five to 10 years.

People will choose to discuss ideas in different groups like quality of life, sustainable population, physical environment and energy policy.

However, organiser Katie Le Quesne has said she wants as many people as possible to get involved.

Imagine Jersey is being held next Friday and Saturday at the Royal Jersey Agricultural and Horticultural Society headquarters.
