Manx-born Bee Gee Robin Gibb is to headline an Isle of Man music festival in the new year.

The Peel Bay Festival will take place in a marquee, with a capacity of 10,000, on the headland at Peel.

The six-day festival, from 2 to 7 June, has been organised to celebrate 100 years of the Isle of Man TT Races.

Chris Norman, the lead singer of Smokie who has been living in the Isle of Man for the past 21 years, will also perform on the first night.

The second day of the festival will feature tribute bands, the Counterfeit Stones and the Bootleg Beatles.

Other acts are yet to be confirmed.
