CCTV raises fears over evidence
Guernsey police have admitted that vital evidence may have been lost from security cameras.

The claim comes after a series of robberies in St Peter Port where three shops have been targeted.

Chief of Police, George Le Page, said some CCTV tapes had not been updated, or were not working properly.

The incidents have also highlighted a shortage of police on the beat. The force needs another 30 officers to make up the full complement of 177.
