Guernsey's new £50m secondary school is set to be given the final go-ahead when the States meet on Wednesday.
The new school will have 720 places and represents a major re-organisation of Guernsey's education system.
It will replace St Sampson's secondary school, and help prepare for the redrafting of catchment areas when St Peter Port school shuts.
A separate special needs school will be built at the same site, taking pupils at Mont Varouf and Oakdale.
Members will be asked to give the go-ahead for building to start in the summer.
