Residential home were outside the range of noise levels

Residents living in St Peter Port, Guernsey, who are disturbed by noise from pubs and clubs are being told they have no grounds for complaint.
A joint investigation by Guernsey Police and environmental health officers to measure decibels found none of the premises was breaking the law.
The only places over the permitted levels were in residential houses which were out of range.
A spokesman for Environmental Health says that is legal.
Tony Rowe says the department can only take action if residents are affected by the noise nuisance.
