Spending levels not sustainable
Politicians in Guernsey are being urged to cut back on spending or face significant tax increases.

The warning has been highlighted in a treasury report to be discussed by the States later this month.

Inflation rates are also said to be causing great concern because of lower levels elsewhere.

States members are being told the current levels of spending are unsustainable and could result in a reduction of public services.
