Plans for WWII air show completed
Red Arrows flying at an air show
Organisers hope the weather will allow the Red Arrows to fly
Plans for Guernsey's Battle of Britain air show have been completed.

The show will have a number of its usual attractions, as well as some new ones, and is due to take place on 9 September.

On the day, the RAF will open the show with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight which will include Lancaster and Spitfire aircraft.

Organisers are hoping the weather will co-operate this year and allow the Red Arrows aerobatics team to fly.

Other events include the Mile of Pennies, a concert in St James and a fashion show.

Guernsey's own 201 Squadron, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, is sending a 35-strong contingent, including 10 pipers, from its base in Scotland.
