Heavy snow closes island airport
Alderney Airport
Sark and Alderney bore the brunt of the weather
Alderney's Airport remains closed after the first heavy snow since 1997 fell across the Bailiwick.

About three inches of snow fell overnight, with Sark and Alderney bearing the brunt of the weather.

Guernsey Police closed Mount Herman in St Peter Port due to ice but expect it to re-open around lunchtime.

Guernsey airport is still trying to catch up with delays, but passengers are being advised to check in on time.
