Emergency at Jersey airport
Jersey Airport
The plane was travelling to Jersey from Gatwick
There was an emergency at Jersey airport on Tuesday morning when a British Airways aircraft from Gatwick had problems on its approach to the island.

Fire and ambulance crews were sent to the Airport from St Helier.

The plane, a Boeing 737, landed safely but had problems with one of its wings.

There were 81 people on board.

No one was injured.
