Firework factory blast in China
An explosion at a fireworks factory in northeast China has killed at least 29 people and destroyed a three-storey building.

Chinese state television reported that the authorities were investigating the blast at Tieling in Liaoning province, and that rescuers were searching for survivors.

Accidents from fireworks stored unsafely or illegally in China kill hundreds of people a year.
