Former luger Patrick Singleton on Olympic track safety

The luge event at the Winter Olympics is to go ahead despite the death of a competitor.

Nodar Kumaritashvili, a 21-year-old Georgian, died when his sled flipped and he smashed into a steel pole during a final training run at the Whistler Sliding Centre.

Former luger Patrick Singleton, who inspected part of the Olympics luge track a few months ago, spoke to the BBC about his fears over the track's safety.
