President Obama attends prayers

President Barack Obama has been attending a prayer service at Washington National Cathedral on the first day of his presidency.

He was accompanied by the First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice-president Joe Biden and his wife Jill Biden.

In an opening prayer Reverend Otis Moss asked God to protect the 44th president and his family.
