Regulations surrounding the sale of fireworks have changed
Hundreds of illegal fireworks have been seized in Powys in a campaign to stamp out anti-social behaviour in the run up to bonfire night.

Trading standards officers took the fireworks from shops and other outlets across the county.

Under new government controls, certain types of fireworks have been banned.

Anyone under 18 can be prosecuted for having fireworks in a public place.

Mini-rockets and air bombs were among the fireworks confiscated.

The regulations were brought in after a big increase in complaints about the nuisance use of fireworks by youngsters around 5 November.
