Dapper Robins' fans cheer their team
Wrexham's football fans are the most stylish in Wales, according to Burton Menswear.

The clothing firm has carried out a survey of fans of the top clubs in the English and Scottish leagues.

And while the form of Wrexham's football players is not the most sparkling, at least the club's fans can hold their heads high.

They have come out top of the three Nationwide League Welsh clubs for their sartorial flair in the survey.

West Ham's fans topped the style league across the UK with the Robins in a creditable 30th place.

The supporters' club chairman Carol Clarke - who always wears a suit to matches - said the fans did make an effort.

"Some people wear conventional clothes - jacket, tie and sweater - but quite a lot of them wear the replica kit which looks very, very smart indeed," he said.

Swansea fans were mid table in 58th position and the Bluebirds were a scruffy 81st.
