Passengers injured in bus crash
Glan Clwyd Hospital
The injured were rushed to Glan Clwyd Hospital
Eight people have been treated in hospital after a bus crash in north Wales.

Two passengers and the driver of the car sustained minor injuries in the incident on Tuesday afternoon.

This is a really bad spot for parking, it's a busy road and the accident caused a lot of disruption

Postmaster Peter Montgomery

The single decker service vehicle, operated by Arriva Cymru, was involved in the collision outside the Ffrith Post Office after a car collided with the side of the bus.

Postmaster Peter Montgomery said he rushed onto the bus to see if he could help the injured commuters.

"One lady had blood all over her legs and was fairly shaken.

"It was shock more than anything, one old lady was worried about her husband at home.

"I brought the lady in from the car involved in the accident and sat her down in the post office, she was okay but very shaken," he said.

Traffic chaos

Mr Montgomery, who bought Ffrith post office six months, said the area outside the shop was an accident blackspot.

"This is a really bad spot for parking, it's a busy road and the accident caused a lot of disruption," he said.

A North Wales Police spokeswoman confirmed that three officers from the force attended the scene.

The injured passengers were all taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan.
