Teenager admits third arson attack
Mold Crown Court
The 13-year-old appeared at Mold Crown Court
A 13-year-old north Wales schoolboy has admitted carrying out a third arson attack

Appearing at Mold Crown Court on Friday, the youngster admitted he started a fire at a house in Wrexham on 5 May.

Secure unit

The teenager, who cannot be named because of his age, has already been sentenced to a period in a detention and training centre for a previous conviction.

He is now being detained at a secure accommodation unit.

He has admitted arson, being reckless as to whether life would be endangered and a further criminal damage charge.

Judge Huw Daniel agreed to adjourn the case for further psychiatric assessment of the defendant.

A proposed sentencing date was changed because the courts was told the teenager's parents would be away on holiday and unable to attend the hearing .
