David Cameron says family is the most important thing in his life and also "the best welfare state". He said people want to see a connection between what makes politicians tick and their policies.
He also comments on his wife, Samantha, participating in his campaign, saying that it is great to have her on the election trail.
He was speaking to Dermot O'Leary in one of a series of interviews for BBC Three with the three main party leaders as well as the SNP and Plaid Cymru leaders.
