Cameron: 'A new direction for the country'

David Cameron and Nick Clegg told reporters at Downing Street the coalition was an "inspiring" moment in British politics.

The Conservative Liberal Democrat coalition is a novelty for British politics, but David Cameron said the alternative of a minority Conservative government was a far less appealing choice.
