Goldsmith 'initially wanted second Iraq resolution'

The former Attorney General, Lord Goldsmith, said he initially thought getting a further resolution on Iraq would have been "safer" as it would have put the "matter beyond doubt and nobody could have challenged the legality".

But he told the Iraq inquiry that he subsequently took a "different view" for "good reasons".
