Amateur video of heavy snowfall across the UK

Heavy snow and icy roads are causing chaos across most of the UK, where Met Office severe weather warnings are in place.

Hundreds of schools across Britain are closed and flights, trains and buses have been disrupted.

Video has been sent into the BBC from viewers across the UK.
