Heavy snowfall hits the UK

Snow has fallen in parts of Britain as forecasters warn of the heaviest and most widespread snow for six years.

Snowstorms are expected to hit south-eastern England through Sunday and into Monday morning, bringing the cold temperatures down further.

This footage shows the scene on Sunday evening in Kent and outside BBC Television Centre in west London.
