WWII bomber to fly again
Sally B, the UK's only airworthy B-17 Flying Fortress, is to take to the skies once again.
The World War II bomber will take-off from the Imperial War Museum's Duxford airfield in Cambridgeshire for the historic flight on Thursday. Built in 1944, Sally B has been based at Duxford for 25 years, but has been grounded for the last two years for repairs.
