Nor did anybody match five numbers plus the bonus for the second prize.

It is thought this is the first time in the Lottery's eight-year history that nobody has won either of the top two prizes, said Lotto organiser Camelot.

The amounts from both will roll into Saturday's prize fund.

Saturday's rollover jackpot is an estimated £9.5m, Camelot said.

Camelot said 956 won £450 each by picking and matching three numbers, while 13,104 winners pocketed £40 each for picking and matching two numbers.
