The project aims to boost the environment and the economy

The backers of a project to transform an empty site near Falkirk into a major area of parkland have launched a bid for £25m in funding.
The Helix would see the creation of a mile-long canal link, 21 miles of path and cycleways and 750,000 trees between Grangemouth and Falkirk.
It may depend on a successful bid for the funding to the Big Lottery Fund.
The Helix forms part of Falkirk's 10-year regeneration vision to create new jobs and boost the economy.
The project has been backed by Falkirk Council, British Waterways Scotland and Central Scotland Forest Trust.
