Ten communities are set to receive a £750,000 payout from a wind farm development near Dumfries.
Airtricity will make the payments to community councils situated around its 15-turbine Dalswinton scheme.
The money will be delivered over the next 25 years and is the latest in a string of such agreements across Dumfries and Galloway.
A total of 41 different community councils are currently receiving payouts in the region.
The community councils involved in the latest agreement are: Thornhill; Dunscore; Auldgirth; Penpont; Keir; Kirkmahoe; Locharbriggs; Holywood and Newbridge; Ae, and Closeburn.
