The administration said more would be spent on care homes

More spending on frontline services and a council tax freeze will be included in Highland Council's new budget.
Its ruling Independent/SNP administration said it would be able to find £25.6m of additional funds.
Councillors said this would be put into care homes, home care, community care and recycling initiatives.
However, £12m of efficiency savings will have to be made and unions have been told jobs will go - including 40 teaching posts.
The council's vice convener, SNP councillor Jean Urquhart, said they would try to redeploy staff where possible.
She was also confident that the budget would be welcomed by tax payers.
