Dundee was the last Scottish council to set its council tax
|
Dundee City Council is raising its council tax by 2.63% - just above the rate of inflation.
The change means a band D council tax payer in the area can expect to pay £1,211, an increase of £31.
A spokesman said it had managed to keep increases below the national average over the past five years.
The majority of Scotland's local authorities defied a warning to keep increases down to 2.5%. Two councils still have to set a rate.
Stirling Council's meeting to set the council tax rise figure was adjourned after Conservative members withdrew from the talks.
No meeting has yet been arranged for new talks.
