Karen Dewar's body was found near her home in Tayport

A 17-year-old youth has appeared in private at Cupar Sheriff Court charged with murdering a teenager girl.
Colyn Lee Evans is accused of murdering Karen Dewar, 16, in Tayport, Fife, on Friday. He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
Miss Dewar's body was found in Tay Street. She had been reported missing on Thursday night.
Her parents issued a statement describing her as a "very friendly and fun-loving person".
