In pictures: Elgin floods
Severe flooding in the town of Elgin in Moray has lead to many residents being evacuated from their homes.
An aerial view of the floods
The River Lossie in Elgin burst its banks
The local distillery suffered as waters rose
Rescued boats helped move people from their homes
The floods made roads impassable
The coastguard helped with the rescue
Pets also had to be evacuated
