Dolphin speed mystery solved

Scientists believe they have solved the mystery of why dolphins are able to swim so quickly.

Here, they track the bubbles around a dolphin as it swims in a tank. The more prominent the colour, the faster the water is moving.

The US team found that the creatures could create much more force from their tails than was previously thought.
